Build your business case for an IoT project

"We need an IoT project" is not a good argument.  During this session we'll cover 6  fundamental questions that will help both business and IT professionals to understand which elements will make or break the business case. A discussion they need to have together.

An ideal session or business and IT to grow closer together !

  • To the business people we'll bring the information from a perspective they'll understand: what does IoT bring to my business, what's the impact on ROI.
  • To the IT professionals we"ll make it clear how they can help their (internal) customer.

Do invite your colleagues to join you!

In the first and second IoT session we focussed on an introduction to IoT & helping you brainstorm when starting an IoT project. Now, we're going to take it a few steps further!

We've invited 6 professionals who have tons of experience in carrying out IoT projects. We've broken the process down in to 6 questions that need answering when you're starting your own project in IoT.

During this session we'll tackle the "only thing" that business is interested in: ROI. That's why everybody around the table has to understand what's at stake. To make it easier for you, we've come up with 6 important topics that business and IT have to address together.

  1. Where to get started?
  2. Which building blocks do we need?
  3. Sourcing these building blocks : where and how?
  4. How to get value out of the acquired data?
  5. Change or die?
  6. "Help my coffee machine ordered a television" (about security)

This won't be a regular session with just some presentations, though! During the second part of the session we'll set up an interactive Q&A market where you'll have the opportunity to walk up to the professionals and get answers to all your questions about your next IoT project!
