LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®: Building the ADM of the future

Unlocking creativeness while having fun at the same time! Our members gathered at the idyllic San Marco Village to experience the power of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® first hand.

Those that were expecting a session where everyone had to actively participate were not left wanting. After a short introduction/setting the scene by Ingrid Hoffman and Christian Tijsmans our members were quickly put to the test.

At the beginning of the session the participants were divided into small groups. 5 LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitators (Michel Cloosterman, Marc Sonnaert, Jan Peeters, Mark Vandael & Christian Tijsmans) gave each team a set of Lego blocks which they had to use to complete various challenges. Every assignment, ranging from building the largest tower to designing the perfect ADM event, illustrated the power of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®: a facilitated thinking, communication and problem solving technique for organizations, teams and individuals.

In the final exercise, everyone was asked to think about the future of ADM. First everyone completed the exercise individually but afterwards each group had to put their ideas and dreams for the future ADM together in one collective design. If you'd like to see a few of these designs, feel free to take a look at the pictures that were taken during the session at the pictures tab.

To round up the session, Christian Tijsmans took the time to give a short presentation about how LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® came into existence and what it's all about.
