Workshop Change Management: How to deal with resistance?

Resistance to change is often linked to the perception of losing personal comfort. This reaction is normal but can be paralyzing and lead to frustration. Through this workshop, you'll get insights into change management and internal communication and learn how to effectively address this resistance.

Expect a workshop with highly pragmatic, practical, and actionable insights and methodologies that you can apply immediately, topped of with case studies and exercises to foster the exchange of inspiration and best practices.

Learning objectives of the training

• Understanding the psychological processes during change
• Identifying the change capacity of employees and teams
• Recognizing the key success factors in such change projects
• Understanding and correctly applying methodologies and tools related to change management while avoiding common pitfalls
• Facilitating the implementation of change, managing resistance and emotions, and building buy-in

• Insights into the current context, understanding the causes and fundamental principles of change
• Knowing and applying principles and different models of change management (Kotter, ADKAR)
• Assessing readiness for change and learning how to handle resistance
• Effective communication about change
• Understanding how human behavior develops in the workplace and how to influence it
• Defining, exploring, and influencing the role of leadership in the change process

Approach
We strongly believe in the principle of combining theoretical components with practical exercises, followed by reflection and discussion. This approach ensures the effective acquisition of knowledge.

We apply the basic principles immediately through an engaging, fun, and educational role-playing exercise. This is a highly interactive exercise involving movement and discussion.
