"Appreciative Inquiry" to plan your change process

Saskia Gheyssens, Employee Engagement Manager at the Federal Public Service for Social Security, has been practicing this approach with success in the past years. During our session on 26 January she led the audience go through the process of 

1. Discovery : exploring of what already exists (mainly the positive things)
2. Dream : visioning the possibilities that lie ahead £3. Design : outlining of what is needed to get there
4. Destiny : planning the actions

As announced this was very much a hands-on session with a lot of interaction, exchange of information … and fun. 

Whatever you do:  do not forget the advice that Saskia left behind: “Don’t talk about it, just do it”
