ONLINE: Tips & Tricks: MS Teams

This MS Teams-session by Jeff De Graef and Lieven Everaerts (specialists Intelligent Workplace at NTT) was a ‘hands-on-line’ event. It goes without saying all participants have become heavy users of collaboration tools nowadays. And yes everbody is intuitively using different platforms meaning we all learn on-the-spot and there is always a colleague that – in our opinion – knows much more about it than we do…

The number of participants at this event is proof of the agility people show when they are in crisis. 

• A Gartner Business Continuity Survey shows only 12% of the organisations were highly prepared for the corona-virus.
• As a consequence ‘Teams’-users  increased from 32 MIO on March 11 to 44 MIO on March 18.
• Cisco Webex also knew an increase of 700% in adoption.

While working remote we still want

• To work efficiently
• To keep customer contacts
• To work anywhere – anyplace – any device

So Implementing Teams is a combination of:

• A tool
• An environment
• Implementation of governance rules
• Enhancement end-user adoption 

For what concerns the last take-away ‘peer learning – digital skills’ we really reply to ADM’s quote ‘share & connect’ … and that is what we did today.
