With record crowds, intriguing speeches and fundraising for Africa, this year’s annual ADM reception proved to be a great success. The reception, held last Monday at the Telenet offices in Mechelen, attracted over 350 participants.
For its February meeting, the ADM board invited Bridget Cosgrave, Director General of DIGITALEUROPE, the principle advocacy group of the European digital economy.

This document gives a summary of the key issues for each of these four subjects, as they were put forward by the participants during the presentations and discussions of the working group. It is not intended to be a handbook on privacy laws.

During 2008-2009 working group chose “Product Portfolio Management” as their topic.
Rather than writing a theoretical paper, a few brave young men decided to set up a business game based on the general conclusions drawn from the discussions of the working group. After a try-out with students from KdG University College (Karel de Grote-Hogeschool) , the working group played the game in January 2009 and on 2 February we organised a successful open PPM workshop.
21/01/2010 – Chris De Backer, CIO of TomTom and current CIO of the year, was the chief guest at the ADM foyer in the SAP Lounge on 21 January. He gave the participants an interesting overview of how TomTom tackles the future: creativity, innovation and ICT form the basis on which to create business value for customers.

In order to give ICT women (still a minority) more visibilty, Data News organises its first "ICT Woman the Year" award.
During its final session in October 2009, the ADM working group on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) examined how the theory compares to everyday business reality.
After the December meeting of the ADM Board, Johan Van Overtveldt and Geert Janssens joined the board members for lunch and presented their economic outlook for 2010, both for the global economy and specifically for Belgium.
