At ADM our students learn to communicate about their field of study

ADM provides direct contact between our college of higher education and the business community. It is important for the university college to integrate into a network of people who are open-minded about IT. It allows us to use the latest new information in our lessons.

We actively involve our students in the ADM sessions and study groups. They meet people in the field who work with the most advanced technologies. The students, in turn, conduct IT studies for which the companies have neither the time nor the budget. For the company this can open up new perspectives that result in an altered vision.

Admittedly, when students start on a project they often get cold feet. But they soon realize the positive side of constructive feedback. Many also appreciate the informal character of the meetings at ADM.

Our students work on different projects for ADM and the reports are presented in study groups. In this way they learn to present and defend a business case. Spontaneous talks with IT specialists 'in the field' are the logical result. Students are encouraged to overcome any fears about opening their mouths. So they learn to communicate comfortably about their chosen field of study. Our university college considers this an integral part of their IT training.
