During its final session in October 2009, the ADM working group on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) examined how the theory compares to everyday business reality. The working group began meeting at the start of 2008 and over the course of 8 evening sessions it discussed almost every aspect of SOA: business, technical architecture, governance and so on. In the paper “SOA: what’s in a name?” (available in English and in Dutch), you will find a short description of the six business cases that were presented during the last few sessions, as well as the practical conclusions drawn by the participants.
