Anti-patterns

Discussion Group

Language: Dutch, Everybody speaks his/her own language.

In today’s context of financial instability and global competition, project risk management is becoming the critical success factor for organisations trying to secure and grow their market positions.

  • Have you ever heard of appreciative inquiry?
  • Do you give your colleagues seven compliments a day?
  • Do you build on your strengths instead of trying to bridge your weaknesses?
  • Do you value the power of the positive?

We do too, but we value the power of the negative as well. In this session we will start by using an advanced brainstorming technique to discover how we can maximise the chances of project success by scrutinising project pitfalls. Together, we will develop concrete steps you can take tomorrow to increase your chances for project success.

Studying project failure can help us change our project strategies and so avoid problems in the future. Learn which steps you can take tomorrow to increase your chances for project success.

Please note this is a discussion session, not  a "sit-back-and-listen" session : participants are expected to participate actively in the discussion and to share examples and best practices form their own experience.
