Legal
Background
Clearing up grey areas
The law does not always keep up with new technologies and new habits on the workfloor. This means that too often people confront grey areas in their daily working lives. This raises questions for those who work in the IT industry but are not legal experts. Moreover, even the legal experts face challenges that they cannot always fully resolve and for which they would like input or advice from colleagues in the field.
Content of this track
For legal councils and nonspecialists
This was one of the first tracks to be offered and it has always kept up to date with new developments and laws. Furthermore, legal aspects are important in several other ADM tracks, such as legal aspects of social media usage and legal aspects of patents that come with innovation.
The Legal programme track is aimed at two main groups:
- legal councils
- non-legal specialists
The legal councils will put forward expert themes and issues for round-table discussions where they exchange their views and experiences.
The second group of non-legal specialists will attend different information sessions where they receive comprehensive information on specific topics. Each session will give them a clear understanding of which legal aspects need to be taken into account when dealing with technology and contracts.
